If you would like to work towards being in shape in the summer, then tennis is a perfect sport to help you reach your targets.

As a sport tennis is fun and is a great way to gain some muscle this summer. Tennis can be played year round and requires between 2 and 4 people to play. To play tennis you will require a court to play on, a couple of tennis rackets, and as many tennis balls as possible. The game can be played by the rules and I find the best amount of time to spend on the court is 1.5-2 hours. As with any workout to keep yourself hydrated take plenty of fluids and also something to snack on. At some point I would recommend taking some lessons to ensure you learn the game properly. Taking lessons will help you in the long run and the better you are the more fun the sport becomes. The sport of tennis is a great way to start working on your physical fitness and is often times be a ton of fun.
